The Boss Project- Laurens County Family Connection DHS Funded- Afterschool Program. Helping students to become the best they can be now and in the future. Kids Today Leaders Tomorrow!!

Monday-Thursday
3:oo pm - 5:30 pm The Boss Project is brought to Laurens County by the Laurens
County Family Connection office. The Boss Project introduce
s kids to the work force. They will be exploring different careers that are
available in Laurens County. Professional from the community will be
invited to come and give the students a hand on experience in that
specific career. As they exp

lore these careers they will be getting
paid for the time spent working on that career with the professional. Students will be given the opportunity to learn life skills, financial literacy,
physical activities, and health education. Students will be able to benefit from
one-on-one help from tutors and other staff members. Through the course
of the year the students go on an educational trip to a college in Georgia.
