🇺🇸 Have a Safe and Happy Fourth of July Weekend! 🇺🇸

As you celebrate with family and friends, please take a few moments to keep safety in mind:

🎆 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible. If you choose to use legal consumer fireworks, follow all instructions, keep a bucket of water or hose nearby, and never allow young children to handle fireworks.

🚗 If you’re traveling, buckle up, avoid distractions, and never drive under the influence. Plan ahead and designate a sober driver.

🌡️ Stay hydrated and take breaks from the heat, especially if you’ll be spending the day outdoors.

🔥 Grilling? Keep grills away from homes, decks, and anything that can catch fire. Never leave a grill unattended.

🏊 Around the water, keep a close eye on children at all times. Drowning can happen quickly and quietly.

🚨 If you experience an emergency, call 911 immediately. Our dispatchers and first responders are on duty 24/7 to serve our community.

From all of us at Laurens County EMA/E-911, we wish you a fun, safe, and memorable Independence Day weekend. Celebrate responsibly and help keep Laurens County safe!

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
