DUBOISTOWN residents, if you experienced any type of damage to your property from the storm early Thursday morning,9/3/26, please file a report by calling 211. This is a request from the Lycoming County Coordinator. Also please take pictures for the assessors who are visiting storm impacted areas.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our awesome Public Works crew for their hard work and dedication to improving our borough's stormwater and sewer infrastructure before the paving by PennDot on Euclid Ave. While the work was an expense and inconvenient for a few weeks, their attention to detail prevented excessive stormwater from entering our retention tank for us to pay for treating. Seeing some of the surrounding boroughs and townships, we didn't see the street flooding that they experienced. So ..... well done Duboistown Borough Public Works crew!

Just a reminder. Be safe.

As you have noticed the sky has turned a color we really dislike. This brings on Air Quality Alerts.
Thursday will be a code Red (Unhealthy, 151–200): General public may experience health effects; sensitive groups are at higher risk.
On Friday we will be at code Orange (Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, 101–150): Sensitive groups (like children, older adults, and those with respiratory issues such as asthma) may experience health effects.
As things change we will keep you updated

Anyone out there an expert in cat saving? Tuna is stuck in a tree about 20'-30' up. The owner has tried leaving food out to coax it down, no luck! Does anyone have any expertise that can help poor Tuna? The situation is on Shaffer St.

We thought everyone could use a bit of levity with all of the roadwork happening in the borough. Yes, it is stressful, there's bright lights and sometimes a wait ..... but just remember the PennDot motto: Temporary inconvenience for permanent improvement 😉
