📬 Absentee Ballot Request Forms

💯Our office is currently accepting Absentee Ballot Request Forms for the upcoming Dubuque Community School District Special Election. On September 8.

❌Please note that we cannot accept Absentee Ballot Request Forms for the November 3rd General Election until August 25, as provided by Iowa law. Any requests received before that date will be returned in the mail.

✅If you're planning ahead, mark your calendar for August 25 and submit your request then. We look forward to helping you vote by mail!

If you're considering becoming a candidate for the School Board, the filing period is now underway. Candidates must:
✔️ Collect at least 50 signatures.
✔️ File completed paperwork with the Elections Office by the August 14th filing deadline.

Our office will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate our nation's founding and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. One of the most important rights we have is the right to vote—a privilege that allows citizens to have a voice in their government and help shape their communities.

As you gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, take a moment to reflect on the importance of civic engagement and the responsibilities that come with our freedoms.

While our office will be closed for the holiday, voters can still access election information through our website at any time.

Election Day Reminders‼
❌You can't vote at 880 Central. You must go to your assigned polling location.
🚧If you vote at St. John's there is some road construction and should enter through the Alley off W 15th St. (See the picture below).
🛻If you vote at Bread of Life Presbyterian Church turn onto Irving Street off University and enter the parking lot that way and drive around to the polling location doors.
