The Dubuque Food Pantry announced our recent leadership change in local media last month, and wanted to share the news with our facebook followers as well.
Executive Director Theresa Caldwell has resigned from her role after dedicated service to the organization and community. During her tenure, Theresa helped strengthen operations, expand outreach, and support individuals and families throughout the region.
“It has been an honor to serve as Executive Director for the last 10 years working alongside dedicated staff, volunteers, board members, and community partners,” said Theresa Caldwell. “I am proud of what we accomplished together and grateful for the opportunity to support this important mission.” The Board of Directors extends its appreciation for Theresa’s leadership and commitment.
“We are grateful to Theresa for her time, energy, and service to the Food Pantry,” said Board Chair Angela Petsche. “Her contributions have strengthened the organization and its impact in our community.”
To support a smooth transition, the Board has appointed Wendy Knight as Interim Executive Director. Wendy will provide leadership and organizational oversight while the Board evaluates long-term leadership needs. “The organization remains strong and fully committed to serving our community,” said Angela Petsche. “We are confident Wendy’s experience will provide stability and guidance during this transition.” The Food Pantry remains focused on providing compassionate food assistance and support to individuals and families in need.
