It's GREAT GIVE DAY!!!! 24 hours of Giving!!!

Organizations like Mt. Pleasant Home make our community stronger, and every donation helps continue the meaningful services we provide each day. Many of the grants available are not issued for capital improvements and we need to maintain the building to provide housing, the core of the mission.

We are seeking donations to help us with 2 major projects:
Foundation repair and updates
New Driveway/Parking Lot.
These two projects are just over $200,000.

Western Dubuque Service Day (WDHS Service Day) today at Mt. Pleasant Home supported our community in the start of our spring landscaping projects! They spread mulch, pulled weeds, helped relocate plants, and helped us get a great jump start on the grounds for the year! A great group of kids who stayed busy and had no problem getting dirty!
Thank you WDHS for thinking of us and for a wonderful day!!

A huge shout-out to all who helped to make our inaugural easter event a success. We were graced by about 85 friends who came to collect some treats and spend some time with the Easter Bunny here at the Home, and can't wait to see who pays us a visit next year. We look forward to continuing this tradition forward into the years ahead. A big Thanks is in order to the University of Dubuque World View class who stopped by earlier in the week to spend some quality time with residents, and help us prepare for this event.

Thanks you all so much for coming out to be part of the experience that helps to put the "pleasant" in Mt. Pleasant Home.

Don't forget today is the day to celebrate Easter Fools Day here at Mt. Pleasant Home. The Easter Bunny will be here for another hour, until 7 PM for photos. and candy give away.

At Mt. Pleasant Home we have a wonderful community of people. That community encourages socialization and builds friendships and family! These two men moved in as strangers and shared meals at the table for over 10 years; they call each other brothers now. After months apart, as one of them had to move, they were reunited recently for a nice brothers lunch and birthday surprise! Thank you for being a part of the Pleasant experience.

Our residents were treated to a fantastic "Fat Tuesday" meal yesterday...Jambalaya with Chicken & Sausage, Corn Maque Choux, Antoine's Salad, and Bananas Foster. Keith and Thad really cooked up a wonderful treat!

At Mt. Pleasant home we try to ensure a great holiday experience for all our residents and staff. A Prime Rib Buffet lunch with Christmas music brought lots of joy yesterday; friends, family, and a feast!
Thank you to all our residents, board members, families, and staff for joining us in being a part of the Pleasant experience that is Mt. Pleasant Home.

The holidays are bright at Mt. Pleasant Home! Our Team Members turned up the cheer throughout the campus with trees, garland, wreaths and more. Residents even get into the spirit, and every door has some decor on it.
