Sertoma’s primary focus is on assisting the more than 50 million people with hearing health issues and educating the public on the issues surrounding hearing health. In order to achieve these goals Sertoma has undertaken a multi-faceted approach by launching programs that address both the treatment and prevention aspects of hearing health. Sertoma also sponsors community projects to promote freedo

m and democracy, to assist youth and to benefit a variety of other local community needs, as identified by the individual clubs.

At today's Sertoma meeting, we had the opportunity to hear about the phenomenal work that Foundation 2 Crisis Services does for our community. Jodi and Alexis joined us to share how their organization works and shared that their services are free, voluntary and confidential. Below is their contact information as well as their service info. Sertoma donated $250 to their organization at the conclusion of the meeting.

Yesterday at our Sertoma meeting, we had the privilege of having Candy, from the Tri-State Independent Blind Society, with us to talk about their organization. She spoke about events that they hold for holidays and special occasions, Bingo, which is held Mon/Wed/Fri evenings and discussed items that are beneficial to their cause. Sertoma donated $250 to the Tri-State Independent Blind Society at the end of the meeting.
