Are you looking to start or grow your career in the fire service while gaining valuable hands-on experience?

🔥 Duette Fire Rescue is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Firefighters!

We’re looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow in the fire service. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience, continue developing your skills, and train alongside experienced Firefighter/EMTs and Paramedics in an active combination fire department.

💰 Pay: $18.00/hour

Minimum Requirements: • Florida Firefighter II Certification
• Florida EMT Certification
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to successfully complete a physical
• Ability to pass a background check
• Successful completion of an interview

💧 COMMUNITY PARTNERS HELP KEEP OUR CREWS GOING! 🚒🚑

Duette Fire Rescue would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Primo and BlueTriton Brands in Zephyrhills, Florida, for their generous donation of a full pallet of bottled water to our department!

Hydration is an important part of keeping our firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics safe and ready to perform, especially while operating in Florida’s heat. Whether our crews are responding to fires, medical emergencies, vehicle crashes, training exercises, or other incidents, having readily available drinking water makes a tremendous difference.

Donations like this directly support the men and women serving our community and demonstrate the incredible impact that partnerships between local businesses and public safety organizations can have.

Duette Fire Rescue is a combination paid and volunteer department providing 24-hour Fire and ALS coverage to the Duette community. Whether you’re already an experienced Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic or you’re starting with zero experience — there’s a place for you here.

As a volunteer with Duette Fire Rescue, you’ll have opportunities for:

Its with a heavy Duette heart that we announce the passing of John O'Connor (Santa) Lifetime Volunteer fire member of Duette Fire. He joined not long after the 4-Hers of Duette founded the department in 1982.

Annually the DFR Christmas gift give away is a huge event with gifts for over 200 children annually. John was well known as being Santa and he really lived that part. A kind loving soul always giving and our Santa could never be replaced. Rest in Peace John O'Conner thanks for your life and service to the entire Duette Community, we will take it from here.
