Twin Ports DSA has officially exceeded 300 dues-paying members!

Our exceptional growth over the past two years (nearly tripling in membership since 2024) is indicative of a strong desire, here and around the country, for a new politic and a belief that a better world is indeed possible.

WE CAN choose a livable future over proliferating AI data centers and pipeline construction. WE CAN put workers first and hold billionaires and corporations accountable. WE CAN end capitalist exploitation and violent imperialism abroad. WE CAN tax the rich! WE CAN elect more socialists to office. WE CAN come together to imagine and organize for a future where everyone can afford a home, access healthcare and education, have guaranteed access to a good meaningful job, and a future that enables authentic human flourishing on an Earth that is protected and respected.

We are just getting started and there are more and more of us across the country building toward a better future every day. Join us and become active protagonists in the fight!

Join us tonight at 5pm at Portland Square Park for another round of door knocking! Our DSA endorsed candidates are campaigning on people power, not big money. Help fight against corporate influence in politics by talking to your neighbors about these great candidates!

On September 22nd at 7 pm we’re helping host a screening of the film Econoclast, paired with a panel by Ashley Grimm, David Clanaugh, and Sharla Gardner. Join us at Peace Church and get thinking about the relationship between the environment and capitalist economy.

Do you love water? Do you love forests? Do you hate when big companies like Google try to force AI data centers into your community? Then show up tonight at Hermantown City Hall to tell them just that. We do not want data centers destroying our lands and poisoning our resources, and we will not be silent. Solidarity!

Perhaps when we elect a Democratic Socialist Mayor in Duluth, we can start our own Office of Worker Power.

"The newly created Office of Worker Power is inspired by a similar effort by the Democratic Socialists of America and the United Electrical Workers that has helped thousands across the country organize unions in their workplaces."
