When a school bus stops with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, drivers must follow the law and stop when required. These stops help protect children as they get on and off the bus.

Buying or selling something online? Whether itโ€™s through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or another app, we know it can feel intimidating to meet up with someone you donโ€™t know. Thatโ€™s why weโ€™ve set up a ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž ๐„๐ฑ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž ๐™๐จ๐ง๐ž right outside in our parking lot, marked with a sign and monitored by video surveillance.

Prefer an indoor option? Our lobby is also available for exchanges and is under video surveillance as well.

Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference!

After forming a connection with someone while patrolling Downtown Duluth, CSI Investigator Amber Snavely was specifically requested when that individual needed help.

Our lobby camera captured what happened next. Inv. Snavely took the time to listen, then went to a local store to purchase a few items for the individual.

A great reminder that policing is about more than enforcing laws. It's also about caring for our community! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿšจ 85 MPH IN A 45 MPH ZONE! ๐Ÿš”

A traffic stop for speeding on Peachtree Industrial Blvd resulted in a DUI arrest.

Officer Burnham clocked a 27-year-old driver traveling 40 MPH over the speed limit! After further investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.

A breath test revealed an alcohol concentration of 0.197 โ€” nearly 2.5 times Georgia's legal limit of 0.08! ๐Ÿฅด

The driver was charged with DUI, speeding, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

๐Ÿ“š Last week, we kicked off our Citizens Police Academy classes in both English and Spanish!

Participants were welcomed by Chief Carruth, met their academy coordinators, toured the police department, and got an up-close look at our fleet of vehicles! ๐Ÿš“

๐Ÿ‘ It was a great start to both classes, and we're looking forward to the weeks ahead and sharing more along the way!
