Asian American Resource Center

Asian American Resource Center To empower and strengthen our communities by providing culturally competent support services that enhance self-sufficiency and quality of life

The late Henry Jee, a local pastor, founded the Asian American Resource Center and oversaw its incorporation as a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) organization in 1997. His concern and compassion for Asians immigrating to the Atlanta area inspired him to commit his life savings to the organization prior to his death in 2002. His wife, Connie Jee, now leads the Center as its Executive Director. The organizati

on continues to expand its services to meet the increasing demand posed by explosive growth of immigrant populations in the Atlanta metro area.

-To equip vulnerable homeless populations with supportive resources that will enable self-sufficiency
-To help immigrants live productive lives by improving their English proficiency skills
-To provide mental illness treatment to uninsured and under-insured Asian American families
-To form community coalitions with other non-profit and public or private sectors to address local issues such as employment, job training, and social advocacy
