The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council’s mission is to create a healthy art and cultural ecosystem by offering support and resources for artistic professional development and equitable access for arts organizations and individuals to benefit all communities. Mark your calendars! The Artist Emergency Relief Fund applications will be available on September 21, 2026!

The Emergency Relief Fund Program provides $500 or $1000 to individual artists who have had a critical need relating to personal healthcare, housing, equipment, or legal emergencies since July 1, 2025. This program is intended to serve our community by addressing an individual artist’s recent and substantially disruptive emergency or disaster.

Application Opens: September 21, 2026
Deadline: November 1, 2026 before 11:59 PM
Emergency Relief Period: July 1, 2025 – Present

🚨 DEADLINE ALERT! 🚨

The Operating Support Grant (+ Accessible Arts Opportunity) deadline is coming up this Sunday, September 13, 2026 before 11:59 PM!

The Operating Support Grant Program provides up to $15,000 of unrestricted funding to arts organizations within the Arrowhead Region. This grant is intended to support core programming and general operations for the organization.

ACCESSIBLE ARTS OPPORTUNITY: This grant now features an optional Accessible Arts opportunity for up to $2,000 of additional funding. This Pilot Program is designed to improve overall organization accessibility. Combined with the Operating Support Grant, this total award could provide up to $17,000 of funding towards Operating Support & Accessible Arts.

The Artist Equity Grant provides up to $4,000 to individual artists who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color, People with Disabilities, People 65+, Military Veterans, and/or Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r, Intersex, Asexual/Agender, Two-Spirit (LGBTQIA2+). This grant is intended to provide funding to amplify these voices through projects and/or professional development.

Calling all Arrowhead Arts experts!
We're looking for folks to join us as grant reviewers! As a grant reviewer, you will be assigned a set of grant applications to evaluate thoroughly, leave comments, and discuss with a panel of other arts experts to help us disburse our grant funds equitably.

Virtual Meeting Dates: October 26 – 29, 2026 at 1 PM each day (reviewers only attend one virtual meeting)

Time commitment: 5 –10 hours, including personal evaluation time and the virtual meeting.

Stipend: $250 (must attend the virtual review meeting to receive)
