See you at the beach!

We are passing on a local need for teen foster homes in Superior - share with anyone who may be a good fit. 💚💙📣💙💚

"Right now, Douglas County is experiencing a need for licensed foster homes, especially for youth ages 12 and older. By opening your heart and your home, you can provide a safety, stability, and hope to a child during challenging times.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post. Together, we can ensure that children in our community have the opportunity to remain close to their schools, friends, and support systems while receiving the care they deserve.

For more information about becoming a licensed foster parent, please reach out to Douglas County Health and Human Services (715)395-1304. One caring home can change a child’s life forever.”

Sharing this poem today as something to reflect on 💚💙
"The Bridge Builder" by Will Allen Dromgoole, was a woman poet born in 1860, who wrote thousands of poems and essays, but The Bridge Builder is by far her most well known work.

The poet's legacy includes articles that do not align with our values, but we celebrate the message of this particular poem, which reflects what we believe mentoring is all about; building opportunities (or bridges) for the next generation.

We believe we should all aspire to be bridge builders, in one form or another. Ready to take the next step to build a bridge? Reach out to our Mentor Engagement Coordinator Joe at 218-606-2568 or via email at [email protected]
