The Moore County USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) office in Dumas, TX, is seeking a temporary County Program Analyst to assist with delivering key disaster recovery programs under the American Relief Act of 2025. This act, signed into law on December 21, 2024, provides more than $30 billion for assistance to farmers and livestock producers affected by weather-related events in 2023 and 2024.

The position supports implementation of programs such as the Emergency Livestock Relief Program (ELRP), which helps offset losses from drought, wildfires, and flooding, and the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP), which addresses crop, tree, bush, and vine losses through staged payments for revenue, quality, and production impacts.

Applicants need excellent human relations skills, strong clerical and computer abilities, and preferably some general knowledge of agricultural practices.
