Due to projected inclement weather, the Memorial Day Parade has been canceled for tomorrow.

A Memorial Day Ceremony honoring our veterans will still take place tomorrow at 9:00 AM at Borough Hall. We encourage all residents to attend as we come together to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Application period for the 5th Annual Junior Police Academy has officially closed.

We would like to thank everyone participating in this year’s academy and look forward to seeing all of our recruits on June 29th!

On Thursday May 21st at 11am, there will be a Headstone Rededication Ceremony honoring NYPD Lieutenant Ralph Martin, who served with the NYPD for 36 years from 1907 to 1943.

The ceremony will take place at Woodside Cemetery, located at the corner of West Madison Avenue and Prospect Avenue.

All are welcome to attend.

passenger not only increases their own risk of serious injury, but also the risk for everyone in the vehicle.
