The Dumont FD will be completing their annual Santa run on Saturday December 20th! As always, we will be collecting new and unwrapped toys for local families. See below to see which district you reside in.

The DFD was dispatched to Sherwood Road today for a fire in a private residence. Arriving units encountered a fire that started on the exterior and extended into the attic of the home. Crews knocked down the fire in under 30 minutes. There was also damage to vegetation, fencing, and a shed on neighboring properties. No injuries were reported to civilians or firefighters. Battalion Chief 212 was command.

This afternoon, the Dumont Fire Department will be conducting training exercises on a commercial property on Washington Avenue near Dumont Avenue. There will be no impact to traffic.
