⚠️ Avoid power equipment that creates sparks.
✅ Obey burn bans.
✅ Evacuate if fire/smoke is heading your way.
✅ Evacuate if ordered to do so by local officials.

‼️ Have a go-bag ready and know your evacuation route(s).

Hey everyone, we’re just a few days away from our 2022 car show fundraiser at the Empire fire department. This year‘s car show will be a little different than any other car show you’ve entered, the gates will not open until 2 PM and there is no charge to enter the show, trophies will be handed out at 5 PM to the first 25 cars that showed up, the cars will not be judged. We will have our barbecue dinner as we have in the past it will be served at 5 PM and it is a donation only dinner. We are however going to have slow drag races this year, this event will cost $20 to enter, if you don’t understand what slow drag races are, you can message us or just come out and see or come see me at Carquest auto parts and I will explain and give you rule sheets. There will be a trophy given to the winner of the slow drags. As I said, in the beginning, this event will be different than any other event you’ve been to so come out, have barbecue check out the slow drag races, I promise the drag races will be fun. Hope to see everyone there.

Burn ban extended for two more weeks. Violation of the burn ban can result in a misdemeanor and a fine of not more than $1,000.
