We had a productive day at the Oklahoma Capitol on Tuesday. We met with six legislators, including Sen. Spencer Kern, and we got to sit in the Senate Chamber.

Here's a quick update on our team. The Duncan Legislative Team has been hard at work since session started at the beginning of February. We have visited the Capitol multiple times, hosted the annual ADE/DESA Legislative Breakfast, and attended the Chamber Legislative Coffee and thr OEA SW-C North Civication Dinner. We have worked to build good relationships with our legislators and have continued to work for educators!

The Duncan Legislative Team was at the Capitol today, where the work is ongoing. We met with Rep. Brad Boles, Rep. Daniel Pae, Rep. Dick Lowe and Oklahoma State Secretary of Education Nellie Tayloe Sanders.

This was a productive day with lots of great conversations, as we continue to work for educators and public schools.

Our local state legislators joined us for our seventh Legislative Breakfast. We had a lot of good discussions about public education in Oklahoma. We appreciate them taking time to visit with us.

Members of the Legislative Team were at the Oklahoma State Capitol today for the opening of legislative session. We met with our new legislators Stacy Jo Adams, Spencer Kern and Kendal Sacchieri, and discussed concerns related to public education. The Legislative Team is ready to get to work.
