Congratulations to the 2026 Judy White Memorial Scholarship winners awarded at the DVEC Annual Meeting by director, Bill Cuthbertson.

Taygan Jensen, Brendy Paz and Lucas Soohy!

Each of these Duncan graduating seniors received a $2000 scholarship in honor of Judy White, a beloved member of the Duncan community and staunch supporter of Duncan schools.

York Valley DVEC Member Update:

DVEC crews will be in your area tomorrow (Friday, June, 5) continuing the install of our new AMI meter system. We are replacing older AMR meters with new AMI meters, which provide improved meter communication and help us enhance service reliability for our members.

DVEC Membership Reminder:
Wed. June 3rd is Disconnect Day for any electric or natural gas bills that were past due as of May 15, 2026!

Bills can be paid via the online portal at https://ebiz.dvec.org/, through the Night Drop Box at the front door of the DVEC office, or paid in person in the office Wednesday (today!).

Update at 4:55 PM - all power should be restored. If you still don’t have power please call our office.

Update - the issue has been located. The power will be out for about another hour or so as long as everything goes smoothly.

We are aware of a widespread outage in the Duncan/Franklin areas. Guys are on it.

📍 Attention York Valley Members!

Tomorrow, Friday, May 29th, our crews will be working in the York Valley area performing meter exchanges as part of our ongoing system upgrades. We’ll be replacing older AMR meters with new AMI meters to help improve service reliability and meter communication capabilities.
