A garden hose left in direct sunlight during the summer can heat the water inside to temperatures hot enough to cause burns, easily reaching up to 140°F. Water temperatures exceeding 130°F can cause burns, especially to children and pets.

Make sure you run the hose for a few minutes before using it to flush out the hot water and avoid injury.

What You'll Do:
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide high-quality patient care
• Assess injuries and illnesses and provide appropriate pre-hospital treatment

• Work collaboratively with paramedics, dispatch, and healthcare personnel
• Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and inventory of ambulance and equipment
Qualifications:
• Current EMT certification OR we send you to an academy for training
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs with assistance
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, calm, and compassionate under pressure
