Giving back to our community: We, at TLC, will be collecting monetary donations and items on the attached list to give to Second Chance Strays Cat Rescue and Lounge in Hollidaysburg. The owner of Second Chance Strays, Summer, is a young 22 year old, ambitious entrepreneur who has spent the past year working fiercely for stray, unwanted, and surrendered cats and kittens. She provides medical attention, testing, vaccines, medication, helps coordinate low-cost neutering and spaying clinics, coordinates foster homes, and helps homeless cats and kittens find their “furever” home.
Currently, in the last year, they have adopted out 128 cats and kittens, spayed/neutered 322 cats/ kittens, and helped countless cats/kittens to receive much needed medical attention including in emergency situations. Second Chance Strays operates solely on donations.
We will be collecting donations until January 16, 2023, If you would like to donate items or give a monetary donation, you can drop off your donation at TLC of PA, 125 Maple Hollow Rd, Duncansville, PA, 16635 between 8a-4p, Monday thru Friday during the dates stated above. If you would like to donate but are unavailable during these days and times, give us a call at 814-693-6774 and we can schedule a more suitable drop off time. The attachment below, provides a list of needed items.
