The Duncanville ISD Police Department wants to give out a huge shout out to Staff Sergeant McDuffey! He helped out one of our Security officers by pushing her car out of the roadway and drove with police and security to get her gas. And then proceeded to pour the gas in her car.

What a way to kick off "National Thank a Police officer day" Celebrated Sep 16th, 2023. We started off bright and early with a special visit from Mrs. Fields with a box of donuts and Kolaches (No picture taken because - do we even need to explain?)

Then we got a SWEET visit from Daniel Intermediate School's very own Principal Mr. Chase! Now that was special!

We appreciate all the love and tokens of appreciation.

And, to all of our Law enforcement agencies- THANK YOU! 💙

August 21st is recognized as National Fentanyl Awareness Day. It is a day to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl, share ways to prevent fatal overdoses, and remember those who have lost their life to the drug.

The Duncanville Police Department will host a panel of members on September 21st, who will share data and experiences to raise awareness and prevent further loss due to Fentanyl.
