This message is for unnamed hometown hero. I was woken up yesterday morning by frantic knocking and door bell ring. My neighbors pool equipment had caught fire and had spread to my fence and tool shed. An off duty Duncanvile firefighter and a Farmers Branch firefighter were the first on scene made sure that both my family and my neighbor's were all safe then immediately went to work on stopping the fire from spreading until Carrollton Fire truck arrived and extinguished the fire. They both are the neighbor's neighbor and if had not been because of their professional training, dedication to duty and simply caring about the welfare of another human being the damage would have been a lot worse. So I just want to say you neighbor for going above and beyond Thank you from your neighbors on Concord Pl in Carrollton, TX
Former Duncanville Fire Fighter. RIP.
