🚨It may have been 2am when the vote came down, but this morning Michigan kids woke up with a bipartisan school aid budget. 🚨

📚 Per-pupil funding: $10,050 per student
🥪 Free breakfast & lunch for every child
🧠 Mental health & school safety funding preserved
🚌 Rural busing protected
📖 Support for special education & literacy
🍎 Teacher bonuses secured

*Update coming as we continue to read through the budget.
It appears as though this school budget is actually a $400 million shortfall from the last school budget. This budget is a mixed bag at best.

Looking for something fun to do on Friday? Come on out and support our award winning band in their Community Preview performance as they prepare for the MSBOA Festival. The performance is free and there will be a 50/50 Raffle as well as a homemade quilt up for raffle. All proceeds from the raffles go to support the Dundee Community Schools band program! 🎵 💙🤍🎵
