TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT
The Townโs intent is not to create a public forum, but to maintain a moderated online discussion directly relating to topics posted by the Town that is appropriate for all citizens to read. All content and posts will be retained and are subject to Florida Public Records laws. The following are examples of inappropriate material:
a. Comments not topically related to the pa
rticular article being commented upon
b. Profane language or content
c. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation
d. Sexual content or links to sexual content
e. Solicitations of commerce
f. Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
g. Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems
h. Content that violates a copyright, trademark or other legal ownership interest of any other party
i. Disparaging personal remarks or acrimony towards another person
j. Political campaign information
k. No Town employee personal email addresses should be posted on these sites
Any content or posts that violate this Terms of Use Agreement shall be removed and retained for public records purposes. INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT
