DUNDEE RESIDENTS!!!!!!
PLEASE join me and other concerned citizen on Monday June 29th at 7pm in the Murray County Commissioners Room located inside the same building as the license center in Slayton to show our support (comments will be allowed at this meeting with a limit of 3 minutes) to have a new Cell Tower location be moved from where they want to build it. Cell towers are not all bad but having them too close to your home has several health related side effects that can be avoided if the County Commissioners vote the right way to make the tower move further away from town.
A few quick FYI on Cell Towers being too close to homes:
Property value reduction by 20% (National Association of REALTORS)
Stops opportunity for city growth. People do not want to build near a tower. (Evidenced by solar panels in new development in Slayton on Ironwood near the soccer fields- the lots next to the solar panels remain undeveloped)
Health risks. RF radiation based on 1996 minimum thresholds (these have not been updated in 30 years). Smaller antennas, smaller repeaters. MN Statute requires towers open access to 2 more cell companies to add their repeaters to the tower, increasing RF radiation. Peer-reviewed studies show heath effects to those living and working within 1,000 feet of towers, including headaches, fatigue, insomnia, and male infertility. (Environmental Heath Sciences Organization, International Association of Fire Fighters)
This is for the FUTURE of OUR small town and for OUR children. Infertility is also a factor of being too close to the radio frequencies.

Dundee Legion Memorial Day Program is being held Monday May 25th at 10:30 A.M at First Lutheran Fellowship Hall in Dundee. Guest speaker will be Cathy Ruesch. Coffee and rolls will be served prior to service at 9:30. Graveside services will be at Kinbrae cemetery at 9:30 and Graveside services for St.Mary's and First Lutheran will follow the program.
