🧑‍💻 ROOM FOR MORE: More Work

Have you ever needed a quiet place to work, study, take a virtual meeting, or focus on a project? We're working to create one right here at the Dundee Library!

Our library has an underutilized storage room that we're ready to transform into a private workspace for patrons. We've already cleared out and reorganized the room. Now we need to finish the transformation!

Our $600 More Work goal will help us add:
🚪 A new door with a window for visibility
🪑 A desk and comfortable chair
✨ Small fixtures and finishing touches
📚 A welcoming, functional space for individual work or small groups

It's a perfect example of what we're trying to accomplish with Room for More: taking space we already have and making it work harder for our community.
$600 = MORE WORK. More focus. More opportunity. More room to get things done.

Next week, we're talking about More Access. 💧

Let’s Show Our Seniors Some Love! 💕

This October, help us make a difference for local seniors through our STARCat Cares: Generations of Giving donation drive! 📦

We’re collecting much needed items to support a local senior care facility. Whether you donate one item or a whole bag, your generosity can help bring comfort, joy, and a little extra STAR light to someone in our community. ✨

Visit the library throughout October to learn more about what items are needed and how you can help! 🫶

Yesterday was a difficult day for our neighbors over in the Penn Yan school district and it even affected our own students. From what we’ve read and heard the situation was handled professionally and a huge kudos to administrators, staff and law enforcement for all you did. Following such significant events that will likely have lasting impacts on youth and adults we wanted to inform you all of some wonderful resources our county health department has available. Check out the attached link to learn more.

I haven't been feeling well recently. Perhaps the weather has something to do with it, but something isn't right in my bones. I took it upon myself to borrow some of the library's equipment to do a little self assessment. Turns out, I have high blood pressure! The stress of being the best skeleton on the internet must be getting to me... 💀

No worries! The Dundee Library will have all of this medical equipment available to borrow for patrons throughout the entire year. All you need is a valid card at the Dundee Library. Don't have one? Stop in to get yours today! 📚
