Hello everyone! This is Christi Rogers, Planning Commission Chair.

First, thank you to everyone who has taken the Master Plan Community Survey. We have received a great response, and I truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts and ideas for the future of our township.

I wanted to let you know that the survey will close on Sunday, August 2.

After it closes, I will begin organizing and compiling all of the responses. My goal is to have the results ready to share with the community by our next Planning Commission meeting so we can be as transparent as possible throughout this process.

I will do my absolute best to meet that goal, but I also ask for your patience and understanding. We have received a large number of responses. While I may be considered young, I'm definitely not the most tech-savvy person, so organizing and analyzing all of the data may take me a little extra time. I also work full-time and have a young family, but I am committed to making sure the information is organized accurately and shared openly with our community.

Thank you again for your participation, your patience, and for helping shape the future of our community. Your voice truly matters!

Thank You,
Christi Rogers
Chair, Planning Commission

07/20/2026:

Fire Chief Motylinski has cancelled the ban on outdoor burning as the air quality has improved.

Please be aware that a burn permit needs to be filled out and submitted to the township hall for all outdoor burning. This permit is free. It alerts the fire department when someone reports a fire and prevents the department from responding to a fire unnecessarily if there is a permit on file.

If the township hall is closed, there is a box on the east wall just left of the front door with blank burn permits and instructions. Burn permits can be turned in through the mail slot of the clerks door, located to the right of the front door.

Please exercise caution for all outdoor burning and thank you for your cooperation during this difficult time.

Hello Dundee Township residents,

This is Christi Rogers, your Planning Commission Chair. I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to complete the township survey. We truly appreciate your feedback, thoughts, and input as we work to better understand the priorities and vision of our community.

I have been reviewing the surveys as they come in, and I wanted to provide a little clarification regarding the data center section. Those questions were included to help us understand how residents of Dundee Township feel about this topic. While we may have an idea of community concerns and opinions, we do not want to assume, we want to hear directly from you.

While reviewing responses, I noticed that when I created the survey, I accidentally set those questions as multiple choice with only one answer allowed. I have since corrected the survey to allow you to select all answers that apply. If you would like to retake the survey or update your responses, please feel free to do so.

I also want to clarify that I serve on the Dundee Township Planning Commission, not the Village of Dundee. The Township Planning Commission does not have authority over downtown areas or village subdivisions. However, I promise to share the concerns and feedback you provide with the appropriate leaders so your voices are heard.

Thank you again for taking the time to participate and help shape the future of Dundee Township.

Christi Rogers
Dundee Township Planning Commission Chair
