You never know until you try. 🎯

This week, Falcon Navy cadets have been getting an introduction to air rifle marksmanship…learning the equipment, basic safety and handling, and getting some time behind the rifle.

Right now, it’s about exposure. Try something new. See if you enjoy it. Maybe discover something you’re really good at.

For the cadets who want to keep going, we’ll continue building from here…adding the sling, glove and other fundamentals as they learn more about competitive marksmanship.

Not every cadet will decide marksmanship is for them…and that’s okay. Falcon Navy is about giving cadets opportunities to try, learn, compete, lead and discover where they belong. ⚓️

Getting familiar with the range. 🎯

Today was a familiarization day for cadets as they spent time learning our air rifles, range procedures, proper handling, and the fundamentals they’ll build on throughout the year.

For some cadets, this was one of their first opportunities to get behind an air rifle. Today wasn’t about scores. It was about getting comfortable, learning the right way to do things, and building a solid foundation.

Yeah, you know with this crew at the helm, it’s gonna be a good year! 🔥

Louisville was an absolute blast, and we’re already looking forward to Kansas City next year. But first…the road to Pensacola and Daytona starts NOW!

Time to get back to work.

Cadets had the opportunity to visit one of the most famous military installations in the world…Fort Knox! 🇺🇸

Highlights included tanks, the Gold Depository, helicopters, tanks, the PX, the O-Course, tanks, a random horse thing in the middle of a field…and yes, more tanks! 😂

Needless to say, the cadets had a great time exploring Fort Knox and getting a firsthand look at Army life. Experiences like this are a great part of what we get to do together, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure!

⚓️ FALCON NAVY IN LOUISVILLE! ⚓️

For the second year in a row, Falcon Navy had the opportunity to compete at the American Legion National Convention, this year making our first trip to Louisville!

Both teams looked sharp and faced some outstanding competition, including D1 programs like Mc Jrotc.

Our teams secured 5th and 7th place finishes, with just FIVE POINTS separating us from 1st place! 🔥

A great early-season test and a great look at what these teams are capable of. They’re looking strong and ready to make a serious run this Navy season!

And we’re already looking forward to Kansas City next year! 🇺🇸⚓️

A little mid-week break before the team hits the drill pad for the next two days! 💪⚓️

Why three to a tire? Sure, one cadet could do it alone, but that’s not the point.

The team MUST work together, communicate, and collaborate to succeed. The rule is simple: the tire does NOT advance unless every cadet on the team is touching it. No going it alone!

Building teamwork, communication, and trust one tire flip at a time.
