🌀Hurricane season is here. Make preparedness part of your plan.

These photos from hurricane season 2024 are a powerful reminder of the impacts storms can have on our community. Be prepared this season by attending our 2026 Hurricane Preparedness Expo on Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall. The event, featuring Tampa Bay 28 meteorologist Greg Dee, will bring together a wide range of local, county and state experts to share strategies on hurricane preparedness, flood mitigation, debris collection and more. Prefilled sandbags will also be available while supplies last.

⚓Two-Day Boater Safety Course Scheduled June 13-14

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla Dunedin 11-10 will offer a two-day Boater Safety Course on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, at the Dunedin Marina. The course will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days at the Harbormaster Building and will satisfy Florida’s mandatory boating education requirement for anyone born after January 1, 1988. There's still time to make your mark on the Declaration on Independence ✒️ Recreate history at the Dunedin Public Library (223 Douglas Ave) from now until June 14, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., by inscribing a word of the original Declaration in the original script.
