* WHERE... Mercer County in central New Jersey...
Southwestern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...

North Central Burlington County in southern New Jersey...
Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Trenton, Ewing, Princeton, Bristol, Pennington, Yardley, Newtown,
Hopewell, Tullytown and Langhorne.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following
area, New Castle, New Jersey, including the following areas,
Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris,
Northwestern Burlington, Somerset, Sussex and Western Monmouth, and southeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop by mid-day
Thursday. Some of these showers and thunderstorms are
expected to produce very heavy rainfall. 1-2 inches of rain
can be expected with localized amounts of 3-5 inches possible
in the strongest storms.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

It's a great week to head down the shore! 🏖 But, at the beach, remaining vigilant and knowing when to speak up can save someone’s life.
🌊 If you meet someone from out of town, let them know about the dangers of rip currents and other beach hazards.
🚨 If someone is waving or yelling for you: don’t panic, take 10 seconds to assess the situation, then immediately alert a lifeguard.
🛟 While help is coming, see if there’s a flotation device you can throw to them. Don’t attempt a rescue on your own.

Please be advised that there is a Flood Watch in effect for our area until 2:00 AM on Friday, August 21. Showers and thunderstorms are anticipated, mainly after 5:00 PM, which could produce heavy rainfall.

Please remember:

- Do not drive through flooded roadways.
- Avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain.
- Stay away from flooded streams, creeks, and low-lying areas.
- Monitor local weather forecasts and emergency alerts.

Cyber threat actors are actively targeting Siemens S7 Series programmable logic controllers (PLCs) across multiple sectors using internet scanning services and AI-generated exploitation scripts disguised as legitimate monitoring tools.

We released a joint Cybersecurity Advisory with the NSA - National Security Agency, FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation Cyber Division, U.S. Department of Energy, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency addressing the threat to Siemens S7 Series PLCs within the broader context of ongoing threat activity targeting internet-connected operational technology devices, including other manufacturer PLCs.

We urge all organizations to take the following actions immediately:

✅ Inventory all Siemens S7 Series PLCs within your environments.
✅ Apply critical security patches as soon as possible.
✅ Verify network segmentation and make sure PLCs are not accessible from the internet.
✅ Review and strengthen access controls.
✅ Enable comprehensive logging and monitoring.
✅ Implement the Siemens-specific hardening measures in the advisory.
