Just a friendly reminder regarding the VA Town Hall this coming Thursday hosted by VFW Post 5772 Dunlap, TN and American Legion Post 190 - Dunlap, TN. This is a great opportunity for Sequatchie Valley veterans to learn more about their benefits and get their questions answered.

REMEMBER: To be considered a Veteran, one only needs to have served in uniform honorably for two years. I have personally met people who did not consider themselves Veterans because they did not serve during war or in a war zone. That does not matter. As long as someone has a DD-214 with an honorable discharge, they are a Veteran and may be eligible for Veteran benefits. (Amount of time served for eligibility may vary depending upon when the person served and the reason for their discharge, i.e. medical discharge.)
