Due to recent events, we want to make sure the community is aware of what the golf cart and ATV Laws are.

Golf carts:
Drivers have to be 16 YOA with a valid drivers license.
All Carts need a registration sticker from the City Clerk, the fee is $15 and good for a year long.
All Carts have to have proof of insurance.
All Carts need a slow moving vehicle triangle and a safety flag.
All riders must remain seated at all times.
Carts shall not drive on city sidewalks.
Golf Carts are not allowed to travel down the main highways (Hwy30 & Hwy 37/Iowa Ave), but may cross them to get to adjacent St.
Golf Carts without headlights or taillights can only operate from sunrise to sunset.

ATV:
Drivers 18 YOA with valid drivers license.
Headlights on at all time.
Proof of insurance.
Registered with DNR.
Display slow moving vehicle sign.
Allowed on the Highways.

Golf cart registration stickers are available for your carts so you can drive on city streets. Proof of insurance is also required, stickers can be picked up at the city hall.
