📚 Help Us Preserve Sequatchie County History! 📚

The Sequatchie County Public Library is working to complete our SCHS yearbook collection, and we need your help! We are currently searching for yearbooks/annuals from before 1938, the years 1944 & 1945, and anything after 2008.

These yearbooks help preserve local memories, school history, and community stories for future generations to enjoy and research.

Donated yearbooks may be dropped off at the library or placed in our drop box at any time.

Thank you for helping us preserve Sequatchie County history! 💙

📣 Volunteers Needed! 📣

The Sequatchie County Public Library is looking for 10 volunteers to help with our upcoming Family Night Fun event on Monday, May 18 from 4–6 PM!

This month’s program, The Science of Art, will be presented by educators from the Creative Discovery Museum as part of our Connecting Art & Science series. We’re expecting a fun, hands-on evening filled with creativity, exploration, and family-friendly activities—and we could use a few extra helping hands to make it a success!

Volunteers may assist with:
🎨 Activity stations
👨‍👩‍👧 Helping families during projects
🪑 Setup and cleanup
😊 Greeting and assisting attendees

This free public event is made possible through grant funding from the Tennessee Arts Commission, with administrative support from the Southeast Tennessee Development District, along with help from our wonderful Friends of the Library volunteers.

If you’d like to volunteer, please contact the library or stop by the front desk to sign up. We’d love your help! 💙
