If you have campaign sign on county right of way, please remove from right of way so mowers can mow. Many, many complaints have been made to the highway department. Photo details law for signage on right of ways.

East Valley Road will be closed at Barker Branch. No though traffic will be allow. The road will be closed until construction is completed. Estimated closure max is 120 days, weather permitting. We will update throughout the progress. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Barker Branch, East Valley Road Bridge Project

On Thursday, June 4, 2026 a bridge widening project will begin at Barker Branch on East Valley Road. SVEC will be moving powerlines for the project to begin. There will be one lane traffic and possibly temporary road closures. The projection is to have all powerlines moved by Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Please drive with caution. ⚠️
