The Dunmore Cemetery Tour The Dearly Departed Players present The Dunmore Cemetery Tour -- where the present - meets the past! Cemetery Gates 400 Church St. Dunmore, Pa. Admission is free.

The Dunmore Cemetery Tour is a wonderful walk through our history. Costumed interpreters tell stories of our past in vignettes along the tour route -- join us as we stroll through the past and visit with those who helped make our heritage. The tours take place the first two Sundays in October at 2:00 p.m. Private tours are available by contacting Julie Esty at 344-3819.

With May coming to a close -- so does the Heritage Express. We made our last run for the season today. We had a great time -- What an honor to work with the Heritage Valley Authority, the folks at Steamtown and all of those wonderful students. We loved every minute of it. We'll be back next year!

Despite SUV services being postponed, about thirty --- thirty five folks showed up. Was happy to chat with those who turned out about the plot, cannons and some who are buried there. Yeah - the weather has been problematic but - it was still a good morning in the cemetery.
