Dunn Police Department Seizes Co***ne and Methamphetamine; Dunn Man Arrested
The Dunn Police Department Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Unit, working in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections, conducted a joint operation on July 8, 2026, that resulted in the seizure of 88 grams of co***ne and 18 grams of methamphetamine.
As a result of the operation, Sha’King Warren, of 303 E. Bay Street, Dunn, North Carolina, was arrested on scene.
Warren has been charged with the following offenses:
Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Methamphetamine
Trafficking in Co***ne
Felony Possession of Co***ne
Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the Sale of Controlled Substances
Felony Conspiracy
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Following his arrest, Warren was transported to the Harnett County Detention Center, where he was placed under a $1,000,000 secure bond pending his first appearance in court.
Dunn Police Chief Lynn Gay praised the work of investigators and emphasized the department’s commitment to aggressive drug enforcement.
“Drug dealers who choose to poison our neighborhoods and profit from addiction should understand one thing — the Dunn Police Department is coming for them. We will continue to target those who traffic in co***ne, methamphetamine, and other dangerous narcotics, and we will use every lawful resource available to remove them from our community. This arrest and seizure are another example of our commitment to protecting the people of Dunn and holding drug traffickers accountable.”
