Dunstable Volunteer Firefighters Association The Dunstable Volunteer Firefighters Association Inc is a 501C3 organization. The DVFFA supports our community and the Dunstable Fire Department.

The department is made of roughly 30 men and women who are paid-on-call firefighters and first responders. They carry pagers and respond to the station to staff the fire trucks when there is a call. Dunstable Firefighters respond to about 300 calls for service a year. Those calls range from fire alarms, house fires, car accidents, CO problems, and medical assists.

🔥🔥🔥Burning permit season is almost upon us. If you are planning on purchasing a permit, please print out a form online (link below)

The permit is $10 for anyone under the age of 65.
Payment can be made by check or (exact) cash.

Burning season is from Jan 15 - May 1

Agricultural permits can be filled out at the station and are $25. 🔥🔥🔥

You can print a permit online, fill it out and visit the fire station for payment and issueing.  You can also visit the fire station during business hours and fill a permit out.

How many of you are prepared with an Emergency Kit?

Here are some helpful tips to stay prepared for the winter.

Include enough food, water, meds & anything used daily in your emergency kit to last for at least 72 hrs

Before a : Have emergency supplies ready in your home; when the storm hits, stay put and off the roads.

Get ahead of storms by making sure your emergency kit for your car is fully stocked: www.ready.gov/car

Keep water, non-perishable food, and an extra set of warm clothes in the car in case you get stranded during winter weather.

Prepare for by keeping an emergency supply kit in your car with these extras:
Jumper cables
Flares or reflective triangle
Ice scraper
Car cell phone charger
Cat litter or sand for better tire traction
