Is your fire number sign faded, damaged, missing, or hidden in a bush? It is the responsibility of property owners to make sure that their address sign is clearly visible from a public road or highway.

Keeping your fire number sign visible and maintained is essential for public safety so that the fire department, ambulance, or law enforcement can find your property in a timely manner.

If you need a new fire number sign, you can purchase a replacement sign for $25 from the Pepin County Zoning Office.

Schools in the area are back in session this week!

Consider this your annual public service announcement: Wisconsin law requires drivers to stop at least 20 feet away from a school bus with red flashing lights and stay stopped until the bus moves or the lights turn off. Yellow lights are used as a warning to indicate that the bus is about to stop.

Lets keep the children in our community safe this school year!
