Last night our troop performed a flag burning ceremony for a bunch of retired flags that were donated to us. Our scouts did a great job raising the flag, sorting old flags, preparing flags for proper disposal, and keeping vigil over the fire. 🇺🇸

Troop 84 is honored to receive the "Organization of the Year" award from the Greater Durand Area Chamber of Commerce. We thank the community for their support and appreciation of the Boy Scouts and their families. We enjoy providing service towards making a better community for us all through the growth of our youth.

Most of our scouts were enjoying a week of scout camp during the award ceremony. We did however have a couple of older scouts helping us for the evening by bussing tables for the dinner and accepting the award.
