We would like to take a moment thank EVERYONE for their help on our multi structure fire today: Plum City Fire, Lund Fire, Pepin Fire, Elmwood Fire, Nelson Fire, Alma Fire, Mondovi Fire, Township Fire, Altoona Fire, Elk Mound Fire, Sand Creek Fire, Menomonie Fire, Ellsworth Fire, Boyceville Fire, Colfax Fire and Wabasha Fire.
We would also like to thanks Pepin EMS, Durand EMS, Maiden Rock/Plum City EMS and Wabasha EMS. Pepin County Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Joel Wener.
Also this call required the help of many businesses and families, Unser Excavating, Brady Bauer Trucking, Brian Berger Excavating, Pierce Pepin CO-OP, Alcivia CO-OP, the Anderson Family, Kyle Anderson, Bruce Kern @ Kwik Trip, John Albers and Ag Resource, Cenex in Pepin, and Gunderson Plumbing and Concrete.
This was a major fire event that required people and equipment from great distances to get under control and extinguished. With the great teamwork from everyone listed above this call went as smoothly as it could. Please keep the Anderson family in your thoughts.
