On Tuesday September 1, our club will meet at the Manna facility to conduct our normal meeting followed by a talk and tour of the Manna facilities.

Speaking will be Co-executive Director Marissa Hunt and perhaps other in key Manna staff positions.

There will be no livestream so do come to receive a valuable update about Manna. Visitors to our meeting are welcome.

Manna’s Mission is to provide, in the spirit of faith and love, nourishing meals and supportive services in an atmosphere of acceptance and caring for those in need.

On Tuesday August 25, come listen to speaker John Angst who is a morning Rotary club member. He will tell us all about Organ Donation. As Mick is in need of a donor organ himself and is listed on the National Donation Website, he has much information to share about promoting organ donations which fall in line with Rotary's Service Above Self motto and improving the lives of others.

At our August 11 meeting, come listen to Animas High School student Boedy Imming speak on his experiences at a recent Rotary Youth Leadership retreat.

His Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RLYA) provided by our club involves an intensive leadership training program for young people ages 14 to 30. Sponsored by local Rotary International clubs such as ours, the program typically runs as a 3-to-10-day camp or seminar focused on team-building, communication, and ethical leadership at no cost to the participant.

As the 4th is the first Tuesday in August, that means that our Rotary club members will once again be cooking and serving food for the National Night Out. Find us on Main Avenue by Buckley Park. Similar events are held throughout the United States.
