A day of discovery, creativity, and big ideas! We were thrilled to welcome the Durango School District Ignite Mobile Learning Lab to the Boys & Girls Club! Our Club members had a fantastic time exploring hands-on learning opportunities, diving into the world of virtual reality, by exploring the fascinating parts of the brain.

We were also honored to have Superintendent Dr. Karen Cheser join us and lead several engaging creativity projects. She encouraged our Club members to look ahead to the coming school year with a growth mindset, thinking about what they want to learn, master, and accomplish. Members put that mindset into action by writing down one or two goals they hope to achieve in the upcoming academic year. A huge thank you to the Ignite Mobile Learning Lab team and the Durango Education Foundation for making this incredible concept a reality and bringing innovative STEAM learning directly to our Club! We look forward to welcoming the Ignite Mobile Learning Lab to our Club locations throughout the year!
