This summer, Team Up Southwest is partnering with Durango Treasures and Twilight Toys to support the Teaming Up for Summer Scholarship Program.

From May through August, shoppers can add $1, $5, or $10 to their purchase at either location to help connect local kids with summer program scholarships across La Plata County.

It’s an easy way to support unique local businesses while helping more kids access safe, enriching summer opportunities.

Next time you’re shopping for toys, gifts, souvenirs, or something special downtown, stop by Durango Treasures or Twilight Toys and ask to add a donation at checkout.

Team Up AmeriCorps is looking for a Restorative Practices Coordinator to serve at Mancos Summer Hub this summer (June 2 – August 15)! In this role, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment for 60+ kids a day by facilitating restorative circles, teaching social-emotional skills, and coaching staff on conflict resolution and de-escalation. It's a meaningful, hands-on role with a great team in Mancos, CO.

Members receive a living stipend of ~$1,723/month, a $1,565 education award upon completion, and reduced-cost housing is available. To apply, email a cover letter and resume to [email protected]. You can also check out the full position description at https://www.teamupsw.org/service
