This month's gourmet adventure features guest chef Toon Patterson, who was born in Amphawa, Thailand and graduated from Manna's Culinary Program in 2025. Together with Culinary Manager Megan, she will guide guests through a menu of fresh Vietnamese spring rolls with peanut sauce, a refreshing lemongrass coconut drink, and authentic Thai green curry with rice.

Bring your friends and your appetite for an evening filled with incredible flavors, hands on learning, and meaningful connection.

Tickets are $50 per person, with all proceeds supporting Manna's mission to provide meals, resources, and opportunities for our neighbors throughout the community.

It has already been an incredible month at Manna Durango, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some of the meaningful moments that remind us why community matters.

From our Co Executive Director, Chris graduating from Leadership La Plata - La Plata County, to The Worm Guy teaching local youth about the magic of worms and healthy soil at our 4th Annual Plant Sale, to Andrew, our Participant Support Manager, speaking with the The Durango Herald about the Light Over Shadows event, this month has been filled with learning, connection, and impact.

We also had the opportunity to tour Tailwind Nutrition, hosted Fort Lewis College students at the Manna Garden for their Giving Back and Community Engagement Day, and continued building meaningful relationships with community partners who help strengthen the work we do together.

These moments may all look different, but they are connected by one thing: community. We are grateful to everyone who continues to walk alongside Manna and help create a stronger, more compassionate Durango.
