Ready to unearth your artistic side? Join us for some dinosaur-themed painting! We'll make fun relief paintings by placing dinosaur shapes, then scraping and smoothing paint to create a dino-riffic work of art to take home with you.

This program is designed for kids ages 5-12 and their caregivers and will be fun for the whole family!

Drum roll, please! 🥁

For the first week of our Summer Reading Program, patrons had a chance to suggest a name for the tarbosaurus that is visiting us for the summer. Over 180 unique names were suggested by the public, and the very best were voted for by staff. Thank you all who participated, whether it was suggesting a name or boosting someone else's suggestion!

In the end, the name chosen for our dinosaur is.... Bibliosaurus! 📖 🦖

Back to our regular day, join us on Monday, June 22nd at 4PM. At a Death Café people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

Death Cafés are open to, and respectful of, people of all communities and belief systems. We'll be meeting in the Program Room on the second floor of the library. We look forward to seeing you there.
