Due to inclement weather, the City of Durant Swimming Pool is closed for the remainder of the day, Wednesday, May 27.

The pool will reopen for the normal schedule on Thursday, May 28.

🚣‍♂️ Ready to put your crafting skills to the test? Join us for the Cardboard Boat Races at the City of Durant Swimming Pool on June 19 & 20! 🌊

🕣 Schedule
• 8:30 AM – Check-In
• 9:30 AM – Boat Building Begins
• 10:30 AM – Races Begin

✅ All materials provided
✅ One rider per boat

Bring your creativity, teamwork, and competitive spirit as you race handcrafted cardboard boats across the pool. Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, this is one summer event you won’t want to miss! More details and registration can be ound on the parks and recreation portal!

☀️💦 School’s out soon and summer starts here! Join us for Splash Day on Friday, May 22 starting at 1 PM as we kick off pool season with an afternoon of fun in the sun! 🏖️

All guests will receive complimentary admission for the day, so grab your friends and family and come celebrate the start of summer at the pool!🌊

🚧 Park Notice 🚧

Rocket Park will be temporarily closed and blocked off while crews complete electrical work on the street lights in the area.

For the safety of our visitors and work crews, we ask that everyone avoid the area until the project is complete.

Please be on the lookout for updates regarding the reopening of the park. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities! 🌳

💦 Lap Swim
Starting May 25

⏰ 7–9 AM

💪 Guided Water Aerobics
First session begins June 6
🗓 Saturdays
⏰ 8–9 AM

Both programs will continue throughout the entire pool season, giving you plenty of opportunities to build endurance, stay active, and enjoy the water this summer.

Whether you’re training laps or looking for a low-impact workout, there’s something for everyone at the pool! 🌊
