Well boys and girls… how’d we do today? 🕊️

We’re seeing a suspicious amount of lead-free sky where the doves used to be, but an ABSURD amount of brass on the ground.

So be honest…

Did you shoot as many shells as are in this picture today? 👀

Because if your limit was 15 doves, but you fired 147 rounds, we’re gonna need to have a little talk. 😂

🚨 LOOK ALIVE, THIS ISN’T A DRILL: DOVE SEASON OPENS TOMORROW.🚨

Cancel the plans. Wake up the dog. Find the shotgun you definitely know where you put. Dig through the truck for those shells you swear you had last season.

Tomorrow morning, we return to our natural habitat: standing in a field at an unreasonable hour getting absolutely humbled by a bird the size of a softball. 🕊️😂

The first shots of the season are almost here, and we want to know…

🎣 Building Better Fish Habitat at Lake Talawanda 2!

Today, our crew was out on the water placing spider blocks and Shelbyville cubes at Lake Talawanda 2 to add valuable structure to the lake.

These artificial habitat structures give fish places to feed, hide, and spawn, creating more opportunities for young fish to survive and helping support healthy fish populations. 🐟

For anglers, that added structure can mean more productive fishing spots and better habitat for the fish we all enjoy pursuing. It’s another way we’re working to improve our fisheries and make the most of our waters for both wildlife and fishermen.

Better habitat today means better fishing tomorrow. 🎣

Printed copies will be making their way to community centers and wellness centers near you soon, so keep an eye out and grab a copy before you head to the field or water.
