Happy 2026 "Fall Fest" Everyone!!

09/12/2026

The Durham Tech Police Department recently completed a Defensive Tactics Refresher Training designed to reinforce essential skills, techniques, and officer safety practices.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Durham County Sheriff’s Office for providing the instruction and sharing their knowledge and expertise with our officers. Your commitment to training and professional development is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to give a special thank you to our very own Assistant Vice President of Campus Operations, retired Sergeant Major, U.S. Marine Corps, D. Best, for providing these photos and helping capture the training experience.

Ongoing training is an important part of maintaining the highest level of preparedness and ensuring we are ready to safely serve and protect our Durham Tech community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this training a success!
