North Carolina Central University vs. New Hampshire, Saturday
Saturday, August 30, 2025 | 6 p.m.
In preparation for our first home football game, Lawson Street (between Fayetteville Street and Alston Avenue) will close at or before 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, for the contest against the University of New Hampshire.
The Latham Parking Deck will be open to students, staff, faculty, and the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone with an NCCU parking decal will be allowed to park in the parking deck at no cost, while all others will be charged $25.00 game-day parking fee
Please keep in mind that any vehicles remaining on Lawson Street after the closure will be ticketed and towed.
The following lots will be closed this Saturday for game day parking:
• A.E. Student Union Lot
• New Student Center
• Alexander Dunn Lot
• B.N. Auditorium Lot
• BBRI Lot
• Cecil Street
• Chidley Lot
• Criminal Justice Lots
• Eagle Campus Drive
• Farrison-Newton Communications Lot
• George Street
• Latham Surface Lot
• Law School Lot
• Lawson Street
• Lincoln Street
• McDougald-McLendon Arena Lot
• McLean Lot
• Miller-Morgan Lot
• Nelson Street
• NCCU Student Center Lot
• Nursing School Lot
• O’Kelly-Riddick Lot
• School of Education
• Shepard Administration Lot
• Stadium Surface Lot
• Student Services Building Lot
Students, please relocate your vehicles from these parking lots before 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Students with a valid “Residential/Commuter” parking permit can park in the following locations:
• Mary Townes Lot - Upper and Lower Lots (off Lawson Street)
• NCCU Parking Deck- Any Floor
• C.C. Spaulding Elementary School (Lawson Street across from Mary Townes Lots)
Visitors can pay at the parking deck by credit card upon arrival.
The cost is $25.00, with credit cards as a form of payment. Cash will not be accepted!
Also, if you plan to use Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, or other food delivery services, your designated drop-off/pick-up location will be Cecil Street at the NCCU Student Center Driveway. Please do not ask rideshare vendors to come on campus because they will not be able to with the game in progress.
